The Story:
My friend John asked me to bring Peanut butter fudge to his house warming party. This is what I came up with!
Preparation Time: 20mins to make, Time to cool/set (I cooled in the freezer for 20 mins)
Ingredients
- 1 Can <300ml> Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 Bag <175g> Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (Bigger bag will work too)
- 2 tsp <10ml> Vanilla Extract
- ½ Bag <200g> Peanut Butter Chips
- ½ Container <200g> Whipped Cream Cheese
Directions
- Melt chocolate chips with 1 Cup <250ml> of condensed milk in a small sauce pot on medium-low heat.
- Once melted, stir in vanilla extract.
- In an 8x8inch <20x20cm> pan lined with wax paper, pour ½ the melted chocolate mixture.
- In a separate small sauce pot, melt the peanut butter chips with the remaining condensed milk. This mixture will be quite a bit thicker then the first.
- Once melted, mix in whipped cream cheese.
- Pour peanut butter mixture into pan, evenly covering the previous layer of chocolate.
- Allow peanut butter layer to cool about 10 minutes.
- Re-heat the other ½ of the 1st chocolate mixture and then pour over, evenly covering, the peanut butter layer.
- Allow to cool in fridge or freezer until very firm.
- Once cooled, trip and discard(eat) messy edges.
- Cut into small cubes and serve.
